DRY FRUIT LADOO / SUGAR FREE DATES LADDO / BURFI

Ingredients for Dry Fruit Ladoo:

  • SEEDLESS DATES 500G
  • BADAM/ALMOND 200G CUT INTO BITS
  • CASHEW 100G CUT INTO BITS
  • RAISINS 100G
  • PUMPKIN SEEDS 100G
  • MELON SEEDS 100G
  • POPPY SEEDS 1 TBSP
  • CHIA SEEDS 1 TBSP
  • FLAX SEEDS 1 TBSP
  • GHEE 1 TBSP

Preparation Method for Dry Fruit Ladoo:

  • Heat a heavy-bottomed pan. Add the almond/cashew bits and dry roast till light brown. Remove onto a big plate and set aside.
  • Add a teaspoon of ghee and fry the raisins till plump, remove on the plate. Similarly dry roast all nuts except chia and set aside on the plate.
  • Add a teaspoon of ghee and add the finely chopped dates and sauté till soft. Remove onto the plate.
  • Mix all ingredients including chia to a pliable mass. Take a small portion, grease your palms, and shape into ladoo.
  • You can also grease a tray and pat the mixture flat and cut into desired shaped burfi after cooling.
