Sprouts Curry

SERVING – 3 (PORTION SIZE/SERVING – 1/2 STD CUP)

  • SPROUTS (MUNG) – 150 GMS
  • ONION MEDIUM – 1 FINELY CHOPPED
  • TOMATOES MEDIUM – 1 FINELTY CHOPPED
  • GREEN CHILLY – 3 SLIT
  • CORIANDER POWDER – 1 TSP
  • CHILLY POWDER – 1 TSP
  • CORIANDER FRESH – 3 TBSP FINELY CHOPPED
  • CUMIN SEEDS – 1 TSP
  • LEMON JUICE – 1 TSP
  • OIL – 1 TBSP
  • SALT TO TASTE

METHOD

  • Take a heavy bottomed pan.
  • Add oil and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add the onion, tomatoes and green chilies in the order mentioned .give a quick stir on high flame and sauté till soft.
  • Add the sprouts. Lower the flame. Sauté gently, after adding the rest of the ingredients.
  • Remove from the flame. Drizzle the lemon juice and serve hot. Best with pulkas,chapathies and rice
