Ragi Idli | Millet Idli | Healthy Breakfast

Ragi the super millet is a natural relaxant. The amino acids present in it helps in dealing with insomnia, anxiety, and depression. Loaded with calcium, iron, and antioxidants this finger millet is an excellent substitute for rice.
Weekend idli/dosa batter this week was prepared with a mix of Ragi, rice, and black gram dal/urad dal.

All were soaked overnight and ground to a smooth batter and left overnight at room temperature.

The result was a well-fermented batter and the porous texture was an absolute delight.

The idlies came out super soft. The breakfast of Ragi idli along with a curd dip was a perfect breakfast for the little ones
