Nellikai Arachukalaki Recipe:

Ingredients for Nellikai Arachukalaki:

  • Fresh Nellikai/ Gooseberries/Amla – 2 big
  • Grated Coconut – 2 Tbsp
  • Fresh curd – 1 cup
  • Green Chillies – 3 – 4
  • Fenugreek / Methi seeds – ¼ tsp
  • Mustard Seeds – ½ tsp
  • Curry Leaves a few
  • Coconut oil (preferable) – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Method:

  • Deseed the amla and grind it along with green chilly, coconut, and salt.
  • Whip the curd with the required salt. Add the paste and mix in well.
  • Take a pan, add oil and splutter mustard, fenugreek, and a pinch of asafoetida. Add the curry leaves and pour this over the curd mixture.
  • Serve with a meal of your choice.
