Ingredients for Rajma Cutlet/Tikki

  • Rajma masala 1 cup
  • Aloo masala 1/2 cup
  • Flattened brown rice /brown poha 1 cup
  • Grated carrots 1/2cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves a handful
  • Chopped green chilli 3
  • Chilly powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Oil… To pan-fry
  • Salt as required

Preparation Method

  • Mash rajma masala Well along with the potatoes.
  • Wash the poha in water and add to the mashed mixture.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well into a soft cohesive mass.
  • Shape the mixture into Cutlet/tikkis and pan fry till crisp on both sides.
  • Serve hot with chutney of your choice or tomato ketchup.

NOTE: This Cutlet/tikki is perfect for a burger or a stuffed sandwich
