Onion Chutney Recipe

Ingredients for Onion Chutney:

  • Onion 4 medium chopped
  • Tomatoes 4 chopped
  • Tamarind lemon-sized ball
  • Garlic pods peeled 10
    Oil 4 tbsp
  • Asafoetida 1 tsp
  • Mustard 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves few salt as required

Preparation Method for Onion Chutney:

  • Take a heavy-bottomed pan. Add 2 tbsp of oil. Add the onion, tomatoes, and garlic and sauté
    on low flame till mushy and dry. Cool.
  • Add the tamarind, required salt, and grind to a smooth paste. Remove on to bowl.
  • Heat the remaining oil, add the mustard, asafoetida, and curry leaves. When they splutter add
    to the chutney. Mix well and serve.
