Ingredients for Aloo-Methi Dosa Recipe
- Potatoes 1/2kg
- Onions 1/4 kg
- Methi leaves /fenugreek leaves 1 bunch
- Garam masala 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder 1 tsp
- Salt as required
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Dosa batter
- Sesame oil for pan-frying
- Idli pod
Preparation method for Aloo Mix
- Take a heavy-bottomed pan. Add the oil. When hot add the onions and saute till translucent.
- Add the potatoes along with all the dry spices and salt. Saute for 5 minutes.
- Finally, sprinkle the fenugreek leaves, mix well and remove from flame.
Preparation method for Aloo-Methi Dosa
- Take a ladle of dosa batter and make a thin dosa on a hot girdle.
- Drizzle some sesame oil on the dosa.
- Take some aloo-methi masala and smear on one half of the dosa.
- Sprinkle idli podi liberally on the dosa and fold as shown in the video.
- Serve hot
