Ingredients for Onion Chutney:
- Onion 4 medium chopped
- Tomatoes 4 chopped
- Tamarind lemon-sized ball
- Garlic pods peeled 10
Oil 4 tbsp - Asafoetida 1 tsp
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Curry leaves few salt as required
Preparation Method for Onion Chutney:
- Take a heavy-bottomed pan. Add 2 tbsp of oil. Add the onion, tomatoes, and garlic and sauté
on low flame till mushy and dry. Cool. - Add the tamarind, required salt, and grind to a smooth paste. Remove on to bowl.
- Heat the remaining oil, add the mustard, asafoetida, and curry leaves. When they splutter add
to the chutney. Mix well and serve.
