Spot Idli Version 2.0 | Hyderbadi Recipe | Street Food

This is version 2.0 of the famous hyderabad spot idli with minimal oil that was used just to smear the idli moulds.

Preparation Method of Spot Idli 2.0

  • Take the idli moulds and smear with Gingelly oil.
  • Place a spoonful of sautéed onion-tomato mixture.
  • Sprinkle with idli karam and pour a ladle of idli batter.
  • Steam for 7 minutes.
  • Unmould the idlies. Sprinkle idli karam liberally.
  • Serve hot or warm with a curd-based dip or a chutney of your choice.
